8-Week Series

 

Level I - Beginning – At the beginning level, students are taught the basic foundations of Yoga focusing on asana (poses), alignment and breathing. Students will learn to use props and modifications based on their individual needs. Classes are 1 hour.

Level II - Beginning – This beginning level is for stronger beginning level students, returning students, who, want to refresh their practice or students who want to advance from a Level I class. Basic foundations of asana (poses), alignment and breathing are taught and props are used when needed. Classes are 1 hour and 15 minutes.

Level III - Continuing – Continuing to Intermediate level students will move forward into a faster paced class and more advanced poses, including inversions. Before continuing to this level, the student must have a firm grasp of how to modify poses for their needs and be willing to challenge themselves a bit more. Classes are 1 hour and 15 minutes.

Vinyasa – This class blends alignment techniques, creative sequences and the breath. Students will continue to work on the foundation of poses through alignment and learn to advance their practice by building strength and using their breath to support each flowing movement.

Gentle & Restorative – This slower paced class combines both gentle and restorative (passive) asana (poses) with modifications to ease in and out of each pose. Perfect for those who want a softer, more meditative class. Classes are 1 hour and 15 minutes.

Community Yoga Classes – All levels Yoga class with a sliding scale rate. Classes vary from 1 hour and 15 minutes to 1 hour and 30 minutes.

Individual Sessions – For students who want one-on-one time with a seasoned teacher. Instruction may be taken at any level; from an introduction to Yoga which can get you ready for a group class, or, continuing individual lessons which can range from beginner to advanced.

Semi-Private Sessions – Students who want to practice with a few of their friends, family or co-workers, but still want the individual attention of a seasoned teacher may feel more comfortable in semi-private classes. Instruction may be taken at any level.


You may register for all 8-week Series classes. Although, some classes require pre-registration, others have space for drop-in’s. View our schedule page to find which class fits your needs.

Please note: If you miss a start date for a pre-registered class, you may still be able to join if there is space. Or if you have been away from class for a while, please confirm by viewing the schedule page that your class still allows drop-in’s prior to coming to class.
